Certified Project Manager (CPM) is a certification that ensures that a project manager has learned and has the ability to implement the proven and practical project management and leadership tools and techniques required to manage projects successfully. Unlike certification testing that focuses on concepts and theory of project management, the CPM boot camp is an experiential based immersion program that rapidly matures both the project management and leadership skills of certification candidates. This program is different from traditional project management certifications which test a project managers knowledge of theory and concepts. The Certified Project Manager certification boot camp is foremost an experiential based training program that provides students with practical and proven tools and techniques and the leadership skills necessary to be successful. To be awarded the Certified Project Manager or MPM Master Project Manager designation, candidates must demonstrate their knowledge of project management (written test), leadership skills and abilities (tested during a dynamic simulation) and determined to have the discipline to continue to apply these tools and techniques after graduation.
