Hillary is a fictional character from the ABC Family series Kyle XY and is portrayed by Chelan Simmons.

eason 1

Hillary starts off Season 1 at Declan's party. There, she meets Lori, her best friend and shows her that Lori's crush, Declan is with another girl. As the police shows up, she is very impressed by Kyle as he rescues Lori from custody by battling a police officer. The next day, Lori and Hillary talk about the event and Lori tells Hillary not to like Kyle because he is the "head case" her mom was working with. Days later, Lori and Hillary show up to a Juice Bar where Lori works and find Declan. Hillary pretends that Lori and Kyle are a couple just to mess with Declan. A few weeks later, Lori and Hilary follow Declan to find out if he was being truthful about playing golf with his dad ("It's so cool that we're stalking him!") and find Declan with another girl. Lori is quite hurt. The week before school starts, Hillary informs Declan that if he wants Lori, he has to step up and ask her to a popular kid's party. Declan does. At the party, while Declan and Lori go off to have sex, Hillary jumps on top of Kyle and talks to him. Lori returns and is upset at Hillary for this and calls her a "slut". Hillary tells Lori how she told Declan to ask her out and Lori feels very bad that she had sex with him. The next week, school begins and Hillary is still mad at Lori. It also happens that both Hillary and Lori are wearing the same shirt. Hillary passes her a note in math class saying "take it off". While Lori responds, the teacher notices and sentences her a detention. Lori sits down to Hillary's table at lunch and tells about another girl wearing the same shirt. Hillary asks if she called her a slut too and tells Lori that she doesn't want to be friends anymore ("For reals? Cause I'm so over you.") and dumps an orange drink on Lori's shirt. During basketball season, Hillary constantly flirts with Declan just to provoke Lori. At the championship, they both show up to prove to Declan that they're more loyal than the other. After the team loses, Lori goes to make up to Hillary. Hillary apologizes as well and tells her that she doesn't like Declan. Later, Hillary calls the Trager household to ask for Lori and accidentally tells Stephen that Declan went to the University of Washington when Lori claimed he was going to Whitman College for the weekend. A few days before the Beachwood Carnival, Hillary confides to Lori and Amanda that she has found someone special but does not tell them who he is. It turns out that it is Charlie Tanner, Amanda's boyfriend. The night of the carnival, Lori tells Hillary that she believes that her mystery man is Declan, but Hillary gets upset at this claim and leaves. Hillary, Charlie, Amanda and Declan all go to the hospital after Kyle has a seizure. In a phone booth, Hillary and Charlie make out, but Lori sees this. Days later, Hillary attends Amanda's confirmation, she later tells Lori how she can make Charlie "sing better than she [Amanda] can." Lori informs Hillary that this relationship cannot end well. At Kyle's goodbye party, Hillary hears Charlie and Kyle talking as Charlie tells Kyle that his relationship with Hillary is just physical and does not interfere with his love for Amanda. Hillary approaches Charlie and splashes him with a drink. She then begins to cry and talks to Lori about how one day she'll find a nice guy ("until the magnificent divorce settlement!").

eason 2

Hilary makes her debut in Season 2 in the episode, The List is Life, explaining to Kyle the rules of interfering in a relationship (referring to Charlie's and Amanda's). She also vies not to be voted biggest slut in The List, which comes out every year (she was voted biggest slut in the previous list). She starts to dress more conservative, and even "revirginizes" with Lori. At the end of the episode she confirms to Amanda that Charlie is the "biggest slut" by admitting that she had slept with him.Hilary then attempts to go into the field of investigative journalism as she videotapes the contest in Hands on a Hybrid. She discovers Josh bribed his way into the contest accidentally letting Andy find out. Her video tapes help Lori and Declan discover that Jessi is the one who attacked Lori.
