Chris Edge

Chris Edge (born 22 January 1974 in Liverpool) is an English comedy writer who provided material for the satirical puppet show Spitting Image.

Chris Edge hasn't written anything since 1996. He can, however, drink Guinness through a sock.

Chris Edge is related to Clive Spansh the humble director of Fletch Spatch Spansh and Wetherby who provide comic insurance cover for the less well off comedians who cannot afford to buy laughs or guffaws at the present interest rate. Chris also gave his guiness laden sock away to a charming man who collected woolen footware for his own 'pleasure'. Socks are a familiar theme through Chris' work having written a stage play "My Life as a Sock", "No Socks Please I'm Cubitt" and the Ray Cooney farce-a-like "Whoops there goes my integrity due to my falling trousers, incessant infidelity and my Socks...Vicar", the latter has yet to be produced.
