Bill Knott (poet)

William Kilborn Knott (born 1940 in Carson City, Michigan, US) is a poet.

Knott received his MFA from Norwich University and studied with John Logan (poet) in Chicago.

He is an associate professor at Emerson College in Boston and is the author of ten books of poetry.

His work has been highly praised by such poets as James Wright and Kenneth Rexroth.
