Bintan Regency

Bintan Regency

The Bintan Regency is the administrative centre of the island of Bintan in the Riau province of Indonesia. Bintan Regency includes Bintan, except for the city of Tanjung Pinang which is an autonomous area of the island.

Location

The Island is located 40 kilometres from Singapore, and has a population of around 120 000. Famous places in Bintang include Trikora Beach, on the east coast, and the international Bintan Resort.
