Terry Link is a Democratic member of the
Illinois Senate , representing the 30th District since 1997. He started his work in government in the 1970s and was a high ranking aide to State Treasurer Jerome Cosentino. While Cosentino was in office he was later found convicted of bilking banks in a major check kiting scheme.Link and his his second wife Susan McCall Link live in Vernon Hills, and they have four daughters and one grandson(all from his previous marriage). He attended North Chicago High School before going on to Stout State University. After Link left the government he became a lobbyist for
