MG 5

The MG 5 is a current production car which will be sold as an MG and built by the Chinese Nanjing Automobile Group. It is similar to the MG ZS, which was produced by predecessor organisation MG Rover from 2001 until that firm went bankrupt in April 2005. It is due for launch in 2008, though the Chinese newspapers reported that NAC not yet has confirmed whether the car will be built in Longbridge Britain or China. It is designed to compete against the likes of the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf.
