Suppressor-inducer

Suppressor-inducer T cells are a specific subset of T helper cells (CD4(+)) that "induce" cytotoxic T cells (CD8(+)) to become "suppressor" cells. Suppressor T cells are also known as T regulatory cells (Fox3p(+)), and reduce inflammation. In this fashion, suppressor-inducer T cells help to reduce inflammation.
