Izabela Dylewska

Izabela Dylewska-Światowiak (born March 16, 1968 in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki) is a Polish kayaker and multiple Olympic medalist.

Dylewska's first success on the international kayaking scene occurred at the 1987 World Championships when she won a silver medal in the Women's 500 meter K1 event, which would prove to be her best event over the ensuing years. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, Dylewska captured the bronze medal; she would attain the same position on the medal podium at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. In between, Dylewska won another World Championships silver medal in the 500 meter K1 at the 1989 edition.

In 1995, Dylewska partnered with Elżbieta Urbańczyk to win the silver medal at the 1995 World Championships in the Women's 500 meter K2. Dylewska's partnership with Urbańczyk would result in two gold medals at the 1997 European Championships (Women's 200 meter K2 and Women's 1000 meter K2), as well as a silver medal (Women's 200 meter K2) and bronze medal (Women's 1000 meter K2) at the 1997 World Championships.
