A sabiki is a type of
bait attractant to attract different types of bait. They are used offboats , piers, jetties, and wherever there are some bait. You can even use them off the beach if you wanted to. Sabiki's come in many different sizes and different colors and can be used for all different types of situations. For example, if you wanted to catch someballyhoo at night then you would use a size 3 and a yellowish color that would work better at night. A popular color for a sabiki is red. A sabiki consists of many gold hooks with little feathers of shiny material whick kind of look like brine shrimp or something of that sort. You can catch many different types of species. One bad thing about sabikis is that they can get tangled easily and they are very hard to store and reuse. They usually always end up in a bad tangle. You can buy a sabiki rod at bass pro shops for a decent price. Sabikis are mainly used in saltwater fishing. Not too many people use sabikis in freshwater. Sabiki's are really good for catching bait even if the bait isn't very thick.Sabiki is also a popular social network targeted towards Florida anglers. Sabiki allows members to find a fishing partner, post pictures and videos, organize trips, find the local fishing hotspots and generally socialize with other Florida anglers.
