Bore Head

Bore Head

Bore Head was a Queensland racehorse owned by Robert W. Chaplain. In 1965 and 1966, Bore Head had an amazing run of well-known races, including the Caulfield Cup and Australian Cup.

Bore Head was one of the favourites in the 1966 Melbourne Cup, but he lost when the horse in front of him fell, taking Bore Head down in a tumble. The following year he placed twelfth in the race.
