Orne west ofL'Aigle , crosses the western part of the department ofEure flowing from south to north and out into theestuary of theSeine on the left bank nearBerville-sur-Mer . Its valley is part of thePays d'Ouche and bounds the regions of theLieuvin andRoumois .The Risle is regarded as a coastal river. Fishing is common downstream at
Pont-Audemer .Its only major tributary is the
Charentonne . The Risle flows through the following departments and communes:*
