Wingolf is an umbrella organisation of 36 student fraternities at 34 universities in
Germany ,Austria andEstonia . Founded as early as1844 , it is the oldest type of fraternity in Germany. It has approximately 5,000 members.It is a
Christian fraternity, wears its own couleur, and, unlike many other GermanStudentenverbindung en, does not practiceacademic fencing .Motto
The motto of all Wingolf fraternities is "Δι ένoς πάντα" - "Di henos panta" (Greek: all things through him (=
