Reported doses are mainly in the 100-200 mg range.
Effects
2C-B-BZP produces dose-time-dependent stimulant effects ambiguous lasting 3-6 hours. Despite its structural similarity to 2C-B it does "not" produce psychedelic effects as the binding groups are in the wrong position to activate the 5HT2A receptor. 2C-B-BZP is also said by several sources to increase the effects of other compounds when combined. Side effects include headaches and nausea, similar to other piperazine derivatives used recreationally.
Legality
2C-B-BZP is unscheduled and uncontrolled in the United States, but possession and sales of 2C-B-BZP could possibly be prosecuted under the
Federal Analog Act because of its structural similarities to2C-B orBZP . 2C-B-BZP is said to be illegal to possess, use or sale in Japan where it used to be sold in localsmartshop s.Pharmacology
