Jovem Pan FM

Jovem Pan, derived from the words Jovem, which means "youth", and Panamericana, which was the original name of the very first radio station, Rádio Panamericana, started in São Paulo on May 3, 1944. It was purchased in November of the same year by Paulo Machado de Carvalho.

The idea to start an FM station began with Antonio Augusto Amaral de Carvalho Filho, better known by his nickname, Tutinha, and began transmitting on July 1, 1976. However, the name "Jovem Pan" was coined in 1965 by Tutinha's father and owner, Paulo Machado de Carvalho.

Tutinha was instrumental in changing the landscape of Brazilian FM radio. His fresh ideas from the way the DJ's made their deliveries to the scope of music programming, was accepted in good taste. The desire to always be cutting edge in programming and broadcasting equipment put Jovem Pan at the top of the ratings.

In July of 1994, Jovem Pan started syndicating via Satellite. The project, known at Jovem Pan Sat, was an immediate success with over 50 affiliates.

Hit Parade Brazil

Program presented every Sunday of the noon at 13:00 in the afternoon, from 1996, in that you/they come the 20 music more voted for during the week, Top 5 current (with right to retrospectives of other times), Top 5 American and European and stop of the Billboard, besides special promotions. Of 1996 the 2000, the program was presented for Marcelo Café. starting from 2001 until today, the presenter Rome Jingles it commands the program all the Sunday afternoons. At any moment, a sequence with 7 success music at the present time burrow in his/her radio. Friday, at the 21:00 hours of the night, it happens a set of mixings with the DJ local. Saturday, it happens the In the Special Ballad, with music that agitate the programming, and in the end mixings with DJs of the Young Pan, mainly if it is it DJ Pazinha (producing of Pancadões Jovem Pan 1 and 2).

Black Hits
