50 Cent performed the song live for the first time at the highly touted WBC Super Welterweight Championship fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya on May 5 2007, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, while leading Mayweather's entourage into the ring.

"Straight to the Bank" debuted at #32 on the Hot 100.

On MTV, the music video was released on May 17 2007, after the "Amusement Park" video, which was released on May 16 2007. On December 31 of the same year, the music video appeared at number 83 on BET's "Notarized: Top 100 Videos of 2007" countdown.
