Lakeland Athletic Conference
- Lakeland Athletic Conference
The Lakeland Athletic Conference is a high school athletic conference created in 1980 with Buchanan Bucks, Cassopolis Rangers, Berrien Springs Shamrocks, Edwardsburg Eddies, Brandywine Bobcats, and River Valley Mustangs being the first members.
Coloma Comets have and will always dominate the Lakeland Conference. They are the hardest working team in the league with the most heart. Everyone should look at the Comets and find ways to be more like them in any way possible.
Former members include Lakeshore Lancers and Dowagiac Chieftains. In 1999, Lakeshore left the conference then in 2001, Dowagiac made their exit after winning conference the previous year.
In 2003-2004, Bridgman joined the conference.
