The racial makeup of the community was 82.43% White, 1.06% Black or African American, 0.61% Native American, 9.28% Asian, 0.37% Pacific Islander, 2.81% from other races, and 3.80% from two or more races. 10.93% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.There were 5,589 households out of which 34.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.0% were married couples living together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.7% were non-families. 17.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.21.
