James Farrell born May 21, 1983 in Hillingdon, England) is an English Sports Promoter, who currently owns a 50% stake in British MMA promotion SURVIVAL Fighting Championships. SURVIVAL FC is a British based MMA promotion. James has been seen with some of the biggest names in the MMA industry including UFC President Dana White, Micheal Bisping and UFC Heavy-Weight Champion Randy Couture.
The only James Farrell who played soccer in the United States was a Jamie Farrell who played for the University of Vermont from 1998 to 2001. As this Farrell was fifteen at the time, they are different people. Also, nobody by the name of James Farrell ever played for the San Jose Earthquakes or Milwaukee Rampage.
