Popovjani

Popovjani ("Popojan" in Albanian) is a village in the Republic of Macedonia. It is located in the Oslomej municipality. The population of this village is 99% Albanian just like the rest of the Oslomej municipality which is overwhelmingly Albanian. Its citizens fought hard against the Turkish oppressors throughout the centuries. Uskana is one of the earliest inhabited Illyrian area of today's Popojan.
