Peace Cup 2007

The 2007 Peace Cup football Tournament took place in July 2007 in South Korea featuring eight teams from around the world split into 2 groups with the winner from each group then playing each other in the final. The tournament had appeared to be under threat of being called off due to clashing with the 2007 Asian Nations Cup [http://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/sport/sportheadlines/display.var.1417668.0.whites_trip_in_the_balance.php] , as Manchester United had been forced to call off a friendly in Malaysia under similar circumstances. However, the Peace Cup went ahead as scheduled.
