Massiel Indira Taveras Henríquez (born 1984) is Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2007. She was the successor of Mía Taveras López, her cousin. She graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and became a lawyer and a designer.

Massiel is daughter of Damían Taveras and Carmen Henríquez de Taveras. She has six brothers, among them, the conductor of television and ex- queen of beauty Rita Isaura Taveras.

Massiel Indira Taveras Henríquez competed in Mexico City on May 28 at the Miss Universe 2007 pageant. After being among of the favorites^[1] Taveras did not place.^[2]

On October 26 Taveras was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2007 during an event held in Santa Cruz, Bolivia ; she also won the most beautiful face award and best figure award.^[3]
