Eyach virusColtivirus is a genus of viruses (belonging to the Reoviridae family) that infects vertebrates, invertebrates, and plants. It includes the causative agent of Colorado tick fever.[1]
It is carried by rodents transferred to humans through tick bites. It affects hikers or campers and endemic to Rocky Mountains. Causes biphasic fever, myalgias, ocular pain, photophobia and headache.
