Furtherwick Park School Is a Boy & Girls School For Ages 11-16. Furtherwick Park is located on Canvey Island. The School Is Located In The Town Centre Of Canvey & Is The Oldest School On The Island & Celebrated Its 50th Birthday In 2006. This School Is No Longer Accepting Year 7 Students, As The School Will Close In 2011/2012.

During 2006 Furtherwick Park Students Got In Contact With A NASA Space Shuttle, The Students Were Able To Ask The Astronauts About What Its Like To Travel In Space.
