Calvin Murray

Calvin Murray (born July 30, 1971 in Dallas, Texas), is a retired professional baseball player who played outfield in the Major Leagues from 1999-2004 for the San Francisco Giants, Texas Rangers, and Chicago Cubs. He is a 1989 graduate of Dallas' W. T. White High School [http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/highschools/leaderboard/schoolhome.html?page=alum&sid=47 "My High School: W. T. His uneventful career was highlighted in 2001 when he was the batter facing Randy Johnson when Johnson hit a pigeon with a fastball in a spring training game.

Notes

He is the younger brother of Kevin Murray (quarterback) who was a star quarterback at Texas A&M University, also is the uncle of Oklahoma University redshirt freshman running back DeMarco Murray.
