Garage (clothing)

Garage is a clothing store under the management of Montreal based Groupe Dynamite Inc. Garage currently has locations in the Canada and United States. Garage is one of the three Groupe Dynamite brands: Garage, Dynamite and Chado which operate as separate retailers. Garage brand is targeted towards teenage girls. With the largest Canadian store in Toronto and the second largest in Winnipeg.

History

*1975 Opening of the first Garage store
*1986 Introduction of a private label collection
*1999 National retailer status with a presence in all Canadian provinces
*2004 Introduction of the New Concept store.
*Since then most of its stores have been renovated, with the large pink Garage logo outside.
*Late 2007/early 2008 Garage is introducing stores in the US, starting with six stores:
**Towson Town Center, MD
**Annapolis Mall, MD
**Crossgates Mall, NY
**Palisades Center, NY
**Woodbridge Center, NJ
**Tysons Corner Center, VA
