- Kanozero Petroglyphs
The Kanozero Petroglyphs are a set of
rock drawings discovered in 1997 on an island inLake Kanozero in the southwestern part of theKola Peninsula inMurmansk Oblast ,Russia . Thepetroglyphs has been dated to the 2nd and 3rd century BC. There are about 850 different drawings at the site. Their meaning is not yet deciphered.References
