- Superior Court of Justice (Brazil)
The Superior Court of Justice (in Portuguese, "Superior Tribunal de Justiça, STJ") is the Brazilian highest appellate court for non-constitutional issues.
A Special Appeal (in Portuguese, "Recurso Especial") can be made to this court when a judgement of a court of second instance offends a federal statute disposition or when second instance courts make different rulings on the same federal statute.
