allstars=2Bernard Flynn is a retired inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer for County Meath in Ireland. As a teenager he attended secondary school in St Mary's of Drogheda He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the eighty's & early ninety's on the Meath team's managed by
Sean Boylan . For Meath he usually played at Full Forward. He played club football for St. Colmcille's of Laytown up to the 1991 season when he moved to St. Joseph's(Laoise) and then to Mullingar Shamrocks(Westmeath). During his playing career he has won 2 Senior All Ireland medals (1987 & 1988) as well as 5 Leinster medals, 3 National League Medals and a Centenary Cup Medal (A competition played to celebrate the one hundred anniversary of the GAA). He won 2 All Star awards also. When playing for Meath he was part of a Full Forward line ofColm O'Rourke ,Brian Stafford & himself, widely regarded as one of the best Full forward lines of all time.External links
