Lyssa Drak is a fictional alien supervillain published by DC Comics. First appearing in "Green Lantern" vol. 4 #18 (May 2007), she was created by Geoff Johns and Dave Gibbons.

Fictional character biography

Lyssa Drak was recruited by Sinestro to join the "Sinestro Corps" which is based in the anti-matter universe on the planet of Qward.

Lyssa Drak is the keeper of the Book of Parallax for the Sinestro Corps, which she is chained to for life. This book contains the lifestories of many of the Sinestro Corps' finest members, some of which she read to Amon Sur before his first mission. It is a counterpart to the Book of Oa, which serves a similar role for the Green Lantern Corps.

When introducing herself to Amon Sur, Drak hinted that she had the ability to sense the feeling of others. Lyssa Drak is apparently from one of the worlds (variously given as Talok IV or Talok VII) in the Talokian star system that Lydea Mallor (Talok VIII), Lyrissa Mallor (Talok VIII), Mikaal Tomas (Talok III) and Shadow Lass (Talok VIII) hail from. Lyssa physically looks very similar to them, but it has not been explicitly stated that she is Talokian.

She is currently under the captivity of the Green Lantern Corps, being held at Oan Sciencells.
