Hook is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately convert|1.5|mi|km|lk=on north east of Goole town centre and lies on the west bank of the River Ouse.

] The parish was part of the Goole Rural District in the West Riding of Yorkshire from 1894 to 1974, then in Boothferry district of Humberside until 1996.

The village has a nearby local primary school. Also, there is a small local post office and grocery store (mace). This ever expanding village has numerous building sites for the purpose of housing development.
