In the Cold Light of Morning

In the Cold Light of Morning

"In the Cold Light of Morning" is the twelfth track on Alternative rock band Placebo's fifth studio album, Meds. When the album was re-released in the U.S., the track was omitted from the album after lead singer Brian Molko refused to censor its lyrics for the record company. He has said that the song's style was inspired by Leonard Cohen's work; the title itself may have been inspired by the Dream City Film Club album of the same name.Fact|date=March 2007
