Fabian Brunnström (born February 6 1985 in Jonstorp, Höganäs) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Playing career

During the 2005-06 season he played a couple of games with Allsvenskan team Rögle BK.

He spent the 2006-07 with Borås HC, who then played in the third highest league in Sweden. Brunnström helped them win the league and moved up in the league system to the Hockeyallsvenskan and scored impressive 73 points in 41 matches topping the league. After the season ended he joined Färjestads BK. Even though the large leap of moving up two leagues Brunnström instantly impressed in the Swedish elite league (Elitserien) and became one of Färjestads BKs top scoring players.

On May 8, 2008, Brunnström signed a two-year entry level contract with the Dallas Stars of the NHL. He is reported to be making close to US$850,000, but he could earn up to US$2 million by the end of the contract through bonuses.
