List of York City F.C. statistics and records

This article is a list of statistics and records relating to York City Football Club. York City are an English football club based in York, North Yorkshire. The club was founded in 1922 and was entered into the Midland League, where the team played until 1929 when they were admitted into the Football League. They were members of the League until 2004 when they were relegated to the Conference National, where they currently play.

This list details the major honours won by the club, records set by the players, managers and by the club. The player records section includes details of the club's leading goalscorers and those who have made most appearances in first-team competitions. It also records notable achievements by York players on the international stage, and the highest transfer fees paid and received by the club. Attendance records at Fulfordgate and KitKat Crescent are also included in the list.

Honours and achievements

York City have won one major honour in English football, winning the Football League Fourth Division in the 1983–84 season with 101 points, becoming the first team in the Football League to do so.cite web

] They have also achieved promotion on five other occasions, most recently in the 1992–93 season, when they won the Football League Third Division play-offs.
