CSB News started broadcasting test transmissions from the 24th March, 2007 and started commercially broadcasting from the second week of April 2007. The channel transmits from the
Telstar 10 satellite located at 76.5°E on the 4041MHz frequency.Closure
On Thursday,
September 6 2007 , theBangladesh Telecom Regulatory Authority officially shut down transmission of the channel. OnAugust 23 2007 the Ministry of Information of Bangladesh had asked theEkushey Television (ETV) and Focus Multimedia Company Limited (CSB) to refrain from telecasting any provocative news, documentaries, talk shows and discussions against the government.
