Noah's Ark Appeal

Noah's Ark Appeal

The Noah's Ark Appeal, also known as the "Children's Hospital for Wales Appeal", was founded in May 2000 to build the first ever Children's Hospital solely for use by the children of Wales. The founding trustees of the Appeal were Wyn Calvin, Geoff Rich, Eddie Rabiotti and Lyn Jones. The latter continues to work for the Charity on a voluntary basis as Chairman, while the former two men serve the Appeal as trustees.

Phase One of the hospital opened its door to patients in February 2005. Support for the building of the hospital was fervent at the Appeal's birth and continues to be huge. Campaigners are now working towards encouraging the Welsh Assembly Government to release funds that have been laid aside for Phase Two of the hospital.
