Deadly (novel series)

Deadly is a novel series written by Morris Gleitzman and Paul Jennings. It was originally a series of six books, but now can only be bought in a single volume. This series follows the format set out by the two authors in their first book together, "Wicked". The titles of the six volumes are as follows:

4. Hunt
5. Grope
6. Pluck

Plot

The story open with a naked boy named "Sprocket" -- and he can't remember anything. He wakes up in a forest somewhere and, oh! He needs to go -- to the toilet. This is where he confronts the first brat: Pooper Scooper. Then Amy, the girl character's story opens up. She lives in the town with her parents. But is her dad cheating on her mum? Sprocket finds himself in the middle of a nudist colony with so-called Brats. But where ever he goes, he finds naked people, and no mum. Amy sets her journey to the town. That is where she finds Sprocket, but dressed up as a woman.

The story follows Amy and Sprocket as they unlock the secret of the nudist colony, the brats and the mysterious blue seed.
