Michael "Mike" Dorie is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. He first appeared in "X-Man #75".

Fictional character biography

A mutant telekinetic in Picayune, Kansas, was one of the few able to resist the mind control of the [http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/harvesterxman.htm Harvester] , an artificial being sent by aliens to "farm" the life force of Earth. His failed attempt to escape draws the notice of super-powered Nate Grey and Mike leads him to the Harvester. When Nate realizes the only way he could stop the Harvester is by sacrificing his own life, he touches the mind of Mike, making him his successor at tribal shaman to the mutants of the Earth. Dorie then leaves Kansas, seeking to fulfill his mission in life.

In "Civil War: Battle Damage Report", he is confirmed having his mutant powers after the power-destroying M-Day.
