Annabel Lamb (born in
Surrey ,England in 1958) is a Britishsinger-songwriter . As asongwriter she has released sixalbum s to date (including a "Top of The Pops " performance in 1983, with hercover version ofThe Doors "Riders On The Storm ", her only hit on theUK Singles Chart ). She has been diverse at times, her earlier albums showing decidedly new wave,synth-pop , experimental rock,jazz and ethnic influences.Lamb has been a session singer and
musician for the likes ofToni Basil andTina Charles .As well as her recording and touring career, Lamb has co-written
song s with many other artists, notably the song "Amazed Are We" forMaxi Priest . Amongst her influences, she listsJames Taylor ,Bonnie Raitt ,Jane Siberry ,Fairport Convention andPaul Brady .Lamb has a son, Henry Brill with her former producer Wally Brill.
