James George "Jim" Wilson (born December 29, 1960 in Corvallis, Oregon) is a retired Major League Baseball player. He played as first baseman and as a designated hitter.

Wilson was drafted out of Oregon State University by the Cleveland Indians in the 2nd round of the 1982 Major League Baseball Draft, and played four games for the Indians in by|1985. He was released by the Indians following the by|1986 season. After a brief tour in the Minnesota Twins organization, Wilson signed as a free agent with the Seattle Mariners on March 1, by|1988, playing five games for them in the by|1989 season. In by|1990, Wilson played in six games for the Daiei Hawks in the Pacific League. He returned to the United States, playing in the minor leagues until by|1993, when he retired.
