Slavyanovo ( _bg. Славяново) is a town in
Pleven municipality,Pleven Province . It lies in the Middle Danubian Plain, to the north-northeast of Pleven. As of 2005, it has a population of 4,951 and the mayor is Asen Bachev.GR|Bulgaria The town is located at coord|43|28|N|24|52|E, 114metre s above sea level.Slavyanovo's old name is "Turski Trastenik" (Турски Тръстеник) and it existed in the middle of the 18th century.
