=Mini Biography=
Terrell Baker is a
jazz musician fromCleveland, Ohio , who has enjoyed cult success since his first concert in the mid 1980s. Originally trained in classical music, he quickly adopted the trumpet before adapting to the brash music styles of his idols,Miles Davis andLee Koontz . Baker's band played in theUS and parts ofEurope , including theUK andBelgium . His musical lineup in the US consisted ofChet Adams on horns,Dee Resner on drums and Maxie Thomas on bass. For his foreign tours he would usually employ local musicians. Upon one visit to London in early 2003 he enlisted his brother, Derek, on horns, withJay Queenan on drums andMike Fury on bass. He has recorded several albums and EPs on independent US jazz labels and currently resides in Cleveland where is attempting to put a new band together.Discography Highlights
