The London Double Header began in 2004 and opens what was the Zurich Premiership and is now the Guinness Premiership. The Guinness Premiership is the top rugby union league in England.
Two games are played consecutively, involving four teams. The matches are allocated as a home game for one team in each match.
The four teams involved were Saracens, Wasps, London Irish and Harlequins.
