The Camp
Woodward Camp is located about 3 hours from
New York City ,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ,Pittsburgh ,Baltimore, Maryland andWashington D.C. The camp itself is an immense area, containing 19 facillities for the camp's parks. The cabins take up a mainspace of the camp and most reside near the Lot 8 park. A cafeteria is at the other end of the camp, and the grilling area is available for lunch and dinner. Commonly, professionals of each sport visit the camp. They are lodged in "Bud's Barn" or "The Lodge." On the first day of attending, action sports campers cannot ride. The camp has a free pool, digital lab, Playstation lounge, basketball court, ropes course, horseback riding program, and volleyball court. For an additional charge, you can ride go-carts and play paintball. The camp has a general store and hangout, "The Canteen." Under the canteen is a bike/skate shop with most general parts for each sport. All sports the programs are based on are dangerous, and in an emergency, the camp has an infirmary and trainers office for minor injuries. If needed, the camp has access to Life Flite for life threatening injuries. In the event of a break, sprain, or in my case, golfcart accident, you can be driven to Penn State Hospital. The camp requires helmet and pads for action sports. It costs from $700-$1000 per week. This includes lodging, 3 daily meals, daily instruction, and the said recreational activities.External links
