Sir Ronald Waterhouse, GBE, QC (born 1926, Holywell, Flintshire, Wales, UK [ [http://www.communitycare.co.uk/Articles/2000/02/24/4918/judge-who-presided-over-a-care-watershed.html Judge who presided over a care watershed, communitycare.co.uk] ] ) is a retired High Court judge who led a three-year inquiry into the Wales child abuse scandal in the 1990s. As a judge his highest profile case was when he presided over the acquital of Ken Dodd on charges of tax evasion.
