Enrico David (born 1966,
Ancona ,Italy ) is an artist based inLondon . He works in drawing, sculpture and installation, usually involving adaptions of traditional craft techniques. He makes large scale embroidered portraits using sewn canvases, which begin as drawings and collages from fashion magazines. He often uses silhouettes of black with shockingly bright areas of colour and pattern. In 2005 David produced a major piece of work "Chicken Man Gong" for Tate Britain'sTate Britain Art Now series, the piece functioned both as public art and ritualistic instrument.In 2007 he had a solo show at the

He has shown work internationally in many exhibitions including the 2003
