- Bergin Hunt and Fish Club
The Bergin Hunt and Fish Club is a former Gambino crime family mob hangout and headquarters. It's located at 98-04 101st Avenue in Ozone Park (a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens).
Today the storefront has been divided into two businesses, a medical supply store and a pet groomer. They both have large awnings and signs in the windows.
Many current residents of the area have never heard of the Gambinos or any of their members.[ [http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/02/15/in-ozone-park-the-mob-ties-that-bind/ In Ozone Park, the Mob Ties That Bind - City Room - Metro - New York Times Blog ] ] ]The neighborhood is much safer now that the Gambinos have left. Since 1990, every category of crime that the police track is down substantially.
