Admiral Sir Sydney Colpoys Dacres GCB (1805 - 8 March 1884) was the a senior naval officer and First Sea Lord.

Dacres joined the Royal Navy in 1817.

Between 1847 and 1854 he commanded successively HMS "St Vincent", HMS "Leander" and HMS "Sans Pareil". As Captain of HMS "Sans Pareil" he was involved in the Crimean War.

He served as Commander-in-Chief, Channel Squadron from 1863 to 1866 and First Sea Lord from 1868 to 1872.
