Serbian Cyrillic : Биовичино Село, Italian: "Biocinosello") is avillage located in the municipality ofKistanje , in theŠibenik-Knin County ,Croatia . The village is situated in northernDalmatia , in the region known asBukovica .History
Serbian Orthodox church Sv. Petra i Pavla (dedicated toSt. Peter and St. Paul), was built from 1524-1534 AD. First school was opened in 1909/1910. This school was located by the church. First teacher was Mirko Lezajic. Old school was used until 1936. It was also used by other nearby villages, of Kolašac and Modrino Selo. Beginning in 1936, school is moved to the center of Biovičino Selo. The first teacher was Blažo Karadjinović, fromMontenegro . DuringWorld War II , this school was destroyed. Students used the home of Ljuban Medos, until school was rebuilt in 1949. After the war, teacher was Darinka Vujasinovic. New school started functioning in 1966, and is named Jovo Kablar.Population
