Expulsion of Indians from Burma in 1962

Myanmar Military ruler General Ne Win who seized power in 1962 ordered expulsion of the Indians. This caused a significant deterioration in Indian-Burmese relations. India arranged ferries and aircraft to lift Indians out of Burma.
